Elite is a powerful new upgrade that continues our relentless drive to offer the most advanced GPS fitness apps for the iPhone. This is our eleventh major update since 2009.
Here’s what’s new in the initial version of Elite, which is available now for Runmeter, and will be available in early 2014 for Cyclemeter, Walkmeter, and 5K Runmeter.
History Dashboards – View column charts and pie charts covering all of your workouts. Columns can be stacked by activity, with a Y-axis of more than 25 different statistics (from number of workouts to average heart rate to total ascent), and with X axis covering day, month, year, routes, activities, plans, bikes, shoes, and all. Easily filter by activity and by time period. Navigate to particular workouts by tapping on the chart. Charts can be zoomed with a pinch gesture. History Dashboards are accessible at the top of the History tab.
History Key Performance Indicators – Have a particular chart that is important to you? Just add it to the Key Performance Indicators. It will be updated automatically after every workout. History Key Performance Indicators are accessible at the top of the History tab.
Google Maps, including Terrain and Traffic – In addition to Apple Maps, Elite adds support for Google Maps, including terrain and traffic maps. Just go to More > Settings > Stopwatch > Map and switch to Google Maps.
Orient Map to Heading – In both Apple and Google Maps, the map can be automatically oriented toward where you are headed.
Weather Recording – We record the current weather conditions (temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, and type) for every workout. This is based on your location, and does not require any additional sensors.
RFLKT and RFLKT+ – Supports the RFLKT and RFLKT+ bike computers, including temperature and altitude sensors. (If you previously had purchased RFLKT support with an in-app purchase, you will continue to have access to your RFLKT or RFLKT+ without Elite.)
Elite costs US$4.99 per year, with similar pricing in other countries. The initial Elite feature set is only the beginning. As we continue to develop major new features, we will add them to Elite, making it even more valuable to you for achieving your fitness goals. We’ve chosen a per year pricing model because we want our efforts focused on keeping you satisfied year after year, rather than having to add features that attract new customers. If we keep you happy, then you will renew Elite each year, and that is our goal for years to come.
PLEASE NOTE: We are not taking away any features from current customers. You do not have to pay any additional amount to keep using features you have already paid for. We will continue to fix bugs, update for new versions of IOS, and provide support. We’re the same company and the same people with the same values. If you encounter an issue or find that something is missing, let us know and we’ll take care of you.
To upgrade to Elite, update to 10.1, and go to More > Elite. Elite is a simple in-app purchase. It does not auto-renew, and we will remind you when it is time to renew. If you do not renew, you can continue to use our app to record workouts, just without Elite capabilities.
Thank you for being our customer. We look forward to serving you with superb applications for years to come.
